Part of a marketing effort by a building Owner and Real Estate Broker, we sought to add a rooftop patio to lure in prospective tenants. This office has one of the best views of the Front Range mountains, so we capitalized on that fact while bringing a taste of the Rockies down to the corporate office in Broomfield. I designed the project from inception and pitched the project to the stakeholders. My original concept retrofitted decommissioned ski gondolas to be used as outdoor meeting rooms. Planters with native grasses and evergreen trees were built up around the gondolas to define space and break up the monotonous hardscape. This project was successfully marketed, however the project status is unknown.
